Our Legacy
The culinary history of the United Group dates back to 1942. Against the landscape of a changing India, the legendary United Coffee House was established in the heart of Delhi by the late visionary Hansraj Kalra.
As a social hub, United Coffee House shaped ideas and traditions for modern India, and created a cosmopolitan Indian palate with its multi-cuisine offerings that set high standards of taste and tradition. Carrying that legacy ahead, today the United Group includes United Catering Services and more contemporary, casual, and fusion dining options.
The United Group ever since its inception has carved its niche into being a legend and helped the city of Delhi in evolving its food culture which became a tradition later for mostly everybody to follow. A new path was developed and a culinary journey has followed ever since, which now has crossed more than seven decades of achievement and success. The United Group after its growing popularity and expertise since then has expanded within the city of Delhi into unique F & B concepts and still keeps its endeavor to touch sky high limits in the hospitality sector.

Our minimum range to cater is 50 persons.

Akash Kalra, the founder’s fifth descendant, is the current group MD of The United Group. Akash Kalra acquired powerful business acumen at a very young age. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of hospitality. It was the year 1990 when the third generation Mr Akash Kalra, took over the leadership of The United Group and since then he has improvised many things. Mr Kalra believes that “food is a form of expression and UCS has truly been redefining the world of event gastronomy in its most conventional format yet modernizing the same in its contemporary sense too.
Mr Kalra has also won the HT Crystal Award in the Best standalone Café category for United Coffee House and other accolades & recognitions on various platforms.
